The ground work on the world's tallest commercial tower Burj Al Alam will be complete by January next year, developer Fortune Group said yesterday. Middle East Foundations Group was awarded the shoring and piling contract for the Dh4 billion project that is slated to become one of the emirate's defining landmarks. The piling work is currently progressing satisfactorily at the construction site in Dubai's Business Bay. This project is slated to become one of the emirate's defining landmarks and an iconic addition to its skyline.
